Fly Around Sherford Phase 3AB

Our teams are busy working on Phase 3AB at Sherford, and check out this recently captured video of the ongoing work our teams are currently undertaking within this impressive next phase of work.

This is the 5th phase of work we’ve started on site since work began back in 2015, and the scale of the project becomes even more impressive with each additional phase.

The latest updates from our infrastructure work on-site include:

• Base and binder surfacing laid on the culvert connecting phases 2D to 3AB — a key milestone
• Roads around parcels 20 & 26 tarmacked
• Four separate drainage gangs working on foul & storm drainage in readiness for road construction across various sections of Phase 3AB
• Drainage and road construction to the main spine road between chainages 2000 and 2150 underway
• Roads being constructed around parcels 13, 14 & 27
• Foul pumping station for Phase 3AB commenced
• Electrical substation number 10 completed; substation 11 in progress — the 10th and 11th installed at Sherford
• Water, Gas and HV cable ducts being excavated, laid and backfilled across the phase
• Parcels 1, 2, 3, 10, 11 & 12 handed over to Bovis Homes & Taylor Wimpey for development
• Earthworks (cut & fill) ongoing for Countryside Partnerships parcels
