New Project: U7 Gym Exeter

Our surfacing team has been busy working for Almond Group at the new U7 Gym site on Exeter’s Marsh Barton Trading Estate, helping prepare the car park and entrance ahead of its opening on Saturday 14 November 2026.

With an exciting new chapter ahead for U7, we’re pleased to be playing a part in getting the outside of the facility ready to welcome members.

A fresh surface for a new start

‍

Our works have involved regulating and relaying almost 5,000m² of asphalt across the car park and entrance. Regulating helps correct uneven levels and prepares the surface for the new asphalt, creating a smoother finish for vehicles and pedestrians using the site.

‍

For a busy commercial facility, the outside space is an important part of the customer experience. From arriving for an early workout to leaving after an evening session, a well-surfaced car park and entrance help create a welcoming first impression and support everyday access.

More space to train at U7

‍

U7’s move will give its fitness community more room to train, additional equipment and more social space. The new gym will also feature recovery facilities, including a sauna and ice bath, which U7 says will be included in every membership.

‍

The move builds on U7’s focus on serious training, with an experienced team available to support members as they work towards their fitness goals.

‍

We’re pleased to support Almond Group on this project and look forward to seeing the new facility welcome its first members in November.
