Sherford Development
Sherford is a new market town being built in the South Hams Devon, equidistant between Dartmoor and the South Devon coast
Sherford will occupy some 1200 acres of South Devon Farmland, 7km east of Plymouth City Centre between Plympton, Plymstock and Brixton and will establish Plymouth’s Eastern boundary.
Just some of its features include:
- 5,500 new homes and over 80,000m² employment and retails space
- Three primary schools and a secondary school
- A variety of community facilities which include: a town hall, youth centre, health centre, library, theatre, sports centre and a community park.
The new community is a joint venture between the Sherford Consortium made up of: Bovis Homes, Linden Homes and Taylor Wimpey.
Steve Hoskin Construction Ltd and Fred Champion Ground works Ltd have united to form Groundfix Ltd.
Groundfix has been formed with the sole purpose of carrying out Infrastructure and Groundworks at Sherford and benefits from being able to draw on resources from both SHC and FCG in order to complete the current Infrastructure Works at Sherford
